Recipes and Food

Well it's the week of Thanksgiving and it seems that everyone is talking food.  I've seen so many recipes for pumpkin this and pumpkin that and the conflict to put mini marshmellows on the sweet pototes or leave them off.

A family favorite in my family is Broccoli Salad.  I've made this so many times and still always get requests to make it again.  The difference from the deli bought salad and mine is that instead of using raisens I use dried cranberries.  So today at Scrap Tiffany we needed to create around Recipes and Food.

Another Blog Hop!

Today, Scrap Tiffany Blog is participating in another blog hop.  Everyones project will be on the blogs listed below.  It's called a Recipe Challenge, because each Challenge Blog is adding one ingredient to the mix.

Here is who's participating, and what they added to the "recipe."

1. Sassy Lil' Sketches---The Sketch

2. scrapFIT--We want you to use 3 of the same thing on your LO. (3 buttons, 3 ribbons, 3 brads)

3. Crop Suey---We want you to use ink, paint or mist or all 3.

4. scraptiffany---We want to see some LACE.

5. Cuttlebug Spot---We want to see some texture or embossing.

Here is my entry for this hop.  You know you can always tell a scrapbooker from others.  They are the ones that are taking pictures instead of grabbing their grandson up from drinking water from the dogs bowl.  I quit, a long time ago, asking the question, "what are you going to do next"?

ScrapTiffany Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to my portion of the Scrap Tiffany Holiday Blog Hop.  I am so glad that you have joined me along this journey.  If by chance this is your first stop, hop back to Scrap Tiffany to start at the beginning.  You don't want to miss any of the Scrap Tiffany Design Teams great holiday projects.

For my project I have chosen to make package tags.  Tags are so much fun to make.  You can add as much or as little as you like.   They can be simple or more complex.

This first tag is my favorite!  The tag is cut from Tags, Bags and Boxes Cricut Cartridge.  I topped the tag with red and green papers and embellished the line between the papers with black lace and lime green pom poms.  The snowman is cut from last years seasonal Cricut cartridge Snow Friends and I used white iridescent embossed paper to give them some sparkle.  Some cute tiny buttons tied with black floss run along the side.  I cut two little tags using a Martha Stewart punch and stamped them with To and From and they were tied on top with the tag ribbon.

The second tag was also cut from Tags, Bags and Boxes Cricut Cartridge.  I ran it through my Cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  Then, using distress inks, gave it a little color.  The dew drops were clear and I colored them red with a Copic marker.  To and From was made with a label maker and done!

The third tag is cut on my own to show that you don't need anything special to make tags.  I stamped a sentiment and once again used one of the snowmen.  I found these cute little doilies the other day and it was perfect for this tag.  I added some bling using my IRock tool.  (love it!)

This last tag was cut out using the Cricut Cartridge Accent Essentials.  I stamped the snowman (Stampn Up)and colored it with Copic markers and then cut it out.  Tore off a piece of white cardstock and added glitter for the snow.  Stapled the ribbon on and it is ready to be placed on a special package.

Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you come back again.
