Challange Card

Paper Sundaes challange this week is to use the colors Crystal Blue, Hollyhock and Sweet Leaf. I found, in my stash, paper that had all three colors. It is a Basic Grey paper called Peppermint Stick. The Magnolia image is one that I just received in an image swap and colored it with my Copic markers. She needed something to sit on so I made a swing hanging from a tree branch which I let sweep off the card.

All of the above fit in with this weeks sketch from Sketch Saturday.

A new Challange Blog called The Creative Cottage was looking for something "NEW". This Magnolia image is new to me coming from an image swap I was part of. The tree branch at the top of the page is from a new Cricut cartridge I just picked up called Home Decor.3/17

Caardvarks Challange

I made this card for the Caardvarks Challange from the inspiration of the above picture. I scored the card in 1/4" marks to imitate the bird cage. The butterflies are from a stamp that was given to me and had no markings on it. Felt that it really needed a little pop of color so added some puff paint on the wings of the butterflies and a teal ribbon running along the side.3/18

Susie's Sassy Designs and Sketch Saturday

This card was designed with the colors "Lilac and Aqua" for the challange at Susie's Sassy Designs and a sketch from Sketch Saturday. The image is a clear stamp that I picked up on clearance from JoAnn's and the embossing is the Cuttlebug Script.3/11 - 3/13

Diecut Dreams Challenge Blog

This card was made with a sketch theme from Karen at Die-cut Dreams Challenge Blog. It was a real challange with so many layers and I loved making it.

I've also entered into a Challange from Saturday Spotlight Last week they wanted "messy" cards and this week we were to "clean it up" with clean lines.

Challange Card

This is a card that I am entering into four challanges and I will link them at the end of this post. The first is "card for mom". My mothers birthday is in May so this is for that special day. The second challange calls for "Glitter and Lace. I found this lace at a crafters supply sale this weekend and I outlined Mom with glitter and also dotted the embossing on the circle with green glitter. Topped it off with a little Glimmer Mist. It's always hard to get glitter to show up in a picture. Another challange is to use three different textures. I have embossed two of the items, used lace and made a paper flower. The 4th challenge is a sketch to copy.

Challange Card

This card was designed to fit many different challenges I've ran across this week. The sketch was from Friday Sketchers and I used a new technique on the rolled flower from a tutorial I was sent. Flowers were stamped using a SU set called "Sassy Stems". Stickled the flowers and filled the vase with Diamond Glaze. Used the Cuttlebug "Script" embossing folder for the background and stitched two together.

Flowers - Flourishes and Jacksonbelle

Critter Sketch Challenge #2, Stamp Something Spring and Just Buggin

I am entering this card in two challanges. Spring is the key word!

This is a new challenge blog that will offer a wide range of challenges from sketch to theme to color, etc.

This card is for their second challange which is using a sketch. I once again, dug into my scrap drawers and came up with this color combination. The three stripes are embossed with the Cuttlebug. Added to the sketch was the requirement that at least two brads or eyelets were used on the project.
