Floating Mouse
Made a card today with my House Mouse stamp, colored with Copic markers, and worked it around several challenges. I love this stamp because the little guy looks so sweet and peaceful. I followed a sketch, used Aqua, stamped a quote for the card, popped it up for a 3d effect, made the water glossy with Diamond Glaze and added a cute little bow charm.

96th Birthday
My mother came by looking for a card for a lady she knows that will be turning 96 years old this month. I told her that she deserved a special card. I checked around to some of the Wednesday challange blogs and found some that would work with the kind of card I wanted to make. I cut the numbers out on my Cricut and mounted them on an embossed Nestie. Distressing was ordered from one blog so I distressed the backing. The other challange wanted ruffles and so I ruffled up the brown ribbon. The last blog was looking for stitching and it is on the ribbon.

Little Red Wagon - Ruffles

Six Challenges and a Swap Card
I used the sketch for my April card swap on the Yahoo Group, Crafty Card Creators. Two of the challenges called for Monochromatic so that is why everything is pink. The other challenges called for Touchy Feely, Tearing and to pick three items from a list. I chose embossing, tearing and sponging. The last challange was for Bows, Buttons and Bling.

Caardvarks - Monochromatic
Charisma Cardz - Monochromatic
Cute Card Thursday - Touchy Feely

Design Team Card
This Monday at Scrap Tiffany we had a sketch challange. I know that a lot of people like to put their own spin on a sketch but I find the challange is in following the sketch the best I can. This sketch was made more for a scrapbook layout but I got it all onto a 6x6 card.I used my Cricut to cut the baloons, party hat and the saying.

New Challange Blog
Cas-Tastic Wednesday Challenge is a new blog and this is for their first challenge. Cas stands for Clean and Simple. Sometimes I think I put way too much thought into my cards and they take a while to make. I'm going to try this new blog site to learn more about the clean and simple look.
Todays' card background is made by spraying Glimmer Mist in a couple of different colors and then running it through my Cuttlebug for a nice embossed look. I used a sentiment that I found at a garage sale (love those for craft stuff)inside my new Nestie I just got.
Pile it on - Sentiment as focal point
Simple Doodles - Inspire Others
Pixie Dust Studio - Green

Sketch Challange
This card started out to be entered into the CPS Card Sketch challenge. A really fun sketch to follow. I then chose the colors Pink, Purple and Sage to go along with the Critter Sketch Challenge. Sparkle was added to fit with the ABC Challenge.
New week for Challanges
I got out my House Mouse for a little fun this week. Since this stamp reminds me the most of Spring in the N.W. it is going to fit into a few challange catagories. I colored her with my Copic markers and added my homemade flower soft to the leaves, grass and flower. A splash of stickles on the flowers and also the image flower. A little butterfly flutters close by.
House Mouse Monday Challange - 2 papers, 3 flowers, 1 ribbon
